Gold as an annual gift

We have a $10,000 gift portfolio which contains a complete set of the current year gold Eagles, along with a quantity of the cost-efficient one ounce gold Eagles, all shipped in a small wood presentation box. By making this a yearly gift, a complete set of each year’s gold Eagles in all sizes is built for the recipient.

This annual gift portfolio contains two components: the one ounce gold Eagle bullion coins which make up the bulk of the package, and the set of one of each of the four different size gold Eagles, put up in a specially-fitted hard plastic case to preserve their brilliant Mint condition.

The ounce gold Eagles may be seen simply as a way to hold (or possibly sell) gold, but it would be hoped that the set of gold Eagles would be held and added to every year. This is the way wealth is built, and the gift of gold can help to instill the values of thrift and conservation.

It doesn't hurt that the gift itself is a tax free transfer of real value.
